Job Description

The Accountant / AP Supervisor will perform general accounting functions within the department. This position will supervise an accounts payable staff of 3 people. This roll will also be responsible for reconciliation of various general ledger accounts as well as maintenance/reconciliation of subsidiary accounting systems. The position will provide support to enhance business processes and will perform analysis and analytical review. This accountant/supervisor will also be responsible for review of entry/import activity into the Ellucian Colleague system and other accounting duties including oversight of the processing of invoices and payments by the accounts payable team.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university- Accounting or finance degree can be supplemented with 7 years’ experience

Experience

• Accounting or finance degree can be supplemented with 7 years’ experience
• Five years or more
