Boost Strategy Group and Fresh Hire 365 are excited to partner with Bayer, a global leader in the agricultural industry, to fill critical Production Operator roles at their Urbandale, IA location. Bayer is seeking highly motivated individuals to join their Central Seed Processing team. This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in innovative agricultural processes and kickstart your career in the industry.

As part of Bayer’s Central Seed Processing team, you will work on cutting-edge automation and seed manufacturing processes that directly impact Bayer’s innovative research pipeline. This is a 9-month contract role (December-August), with competitive hourly pay.

Here’s what the role involves:

Operating machinery using Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems

Monitoring automated processes and managing inventory

Working with software tools to ensure timely and accurate data collection

Performing preventative equipment maintenance

Contributing to continuous improvement and meeting daily production goals

Required:

Candidates 18 years or older with a High School diploma or GED
Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs, and perform tasks that require bending, reaching, standing, or sitting for extended periods
Willingness to work different shifts, including irregular and overtime hours during peak seasons.


Preferred:

5 years of related work experience

Associate degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain production, or Manufacturing discipline.

Experience with equipment maintenance, forklift operation, or warehouse management systems (WMS).
