What you will do:
Design gating, riser, and chilling system to ensure compliance with all customer specifications
Determine optimum tool design for the manufacturing processes alongside the tooling engineer and pattern shop
Design trial casting programs and review them through all manufacturing, inspection, and dimensional departmentsInterpret inspection results, investigate nonconforming castings, and institute corrective actions
Investigate and resolve production problems
Review customer drawings
Responsible for creating and maintaining work instructions for all process areas
Learn and understand customer and regulatory specifications 

What you will need to be successful:
Degree in engineering required or a 2-year degree in a technical discipline with significant foundry experience will be considered
5 years of foundry engineering experience
5 years of sand casting experience
