Registered Veterinary Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated, full-time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)/Veterinary Nurse to join our growing team. We are looking for an exceptionally compassionate individual that possesses both strong interpersonal and technical skills. This individual will be expected to provide the highest level of service and outstanding care to the clients and patients of our hospital.

Responsibilities include:

· Assisting veterinarians in surgery and exam rooms

· Performing dental cleanings

· Monitoring patient vitals and record keeping associated with surgical procedures

· Placing IV catheters

· Taking digital radiographs, both full-body and dental

· Performing diagnostic tests including in-house labs

· Collecting blood samples

· Filling prescriptions

· Communicating directly with clients

· Answering a multi-line phone system

· Checking patients in/out for surgical procedures

· Maintaining detailed patient records

Standard business hours: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
