What you will do:
Drive the design and modification of industrial facilities by applying engineering principles and industry standards
Champion technical excellence by assessing requirements, performing calculations, and delivering specifications, drawings, and contractor scopes
Lead and mentor designers in 3D modeling while overseeing drafting efforts to ensure clear, construction‑ready documents
Shape project feasibility through accurate material take‑offs, cost estimates, and work hour forecasts that strengthen proposals
Guide multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration with clients, suppliers, and construction personnel across all project phases
Elevate client satisfaction by managing expectations and delivering safe, effective, and compliant engineering outcomes
What you will need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering from an ABET‑accredited program, with PE licensure or ability to obtain within one year
8 -12 years of engineering and design experience in process industry systems, ideally within a consulting environment
Proficiency in MS Office, PDF mark‑up tools, and relevant engineering/project management software applicationsStrong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Willingness to travel to industrial facilities and construction sites, and compliance with required safety training (including OSHA 10)
Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to develop new expertise and contribute to marketing and business growth initiatives
