Job Description
The Wallace Centers of Iowa (WCI) is seeking a Development Director. Driving the strategy for philanthropic activities, this is a key and impactful role in carrying on the Wallace family legacy of connecting food, land and people. The Director of Development is responsible for managing a $1 million+ philanthropic portfolio including an endowment, fundraising, grants and donor engagement/management activities. This position can work out of our Des Moines or Orient locations.

Experience
5+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising
Experience developing and maintaining a philanthropy strategy and/or stewardship plan for a nonprofit
Experience grant prospecting, application and administration
Experience working with a donor management system
