What you will do:
Develop cost analyses and secure necessary approvals for capital investments and process enhancement initiatives
Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of projects that deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency
Collaborate closely with department managers to champion continuous improvement efforts across operations
Apply data-driven insights and root cause analysis to identify performance gaps and implement lasting solutions
Promote a cooperative and inclusive team culture within a unionized environment
Serve as a technical advisor to enhance outcomes in safety, quality, productivity, and workplace organization
Work in partnership with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and standardization of new equipment and tooling
What you will need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or demonstrated experience in PLC programming; equivalent experience will be considered
Proven track record of leading technical projects with clear timelines, budget oversight, and cross-functional collaboration
Familiarity with ISO standards and methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis
Skilled in using precision measuring tools, interpreting blueprints, and understanding general manufacturing workflows
