The Accounting Adviser leads the preparation, analysis, and review of financial reports and forecasts to support management decision-making, including oversight of consolidated reporting, general ledger activities, and technical accounting research. What You Will Do:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and variance reports for renewable projects
- Manage journal entries (including AP and inventory) and maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including review of team work
- Support financial modeling, business planning, long-term forecasting, and special projects
- Oversee consolidations across multiple entities and ensure accurate, timely reporting
- Coordinate year-end audits and research and interpret accounting standards to assess reporting impacts
- Maintain Oracle GL system (including account setup) and present financial analyses, reports, and recommendations to management

What You Will Need to Be Successful:
- Bachelor’s in accounting/finance/business (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of accounting experience, with a strong financial reporting/analysis focus
- Advanced GAAP knowledge and research capabilities
- Strong Excel and system skills (Oracle experience preferred)
