Job Description

Business Publications Corporation (BPC), an award-winning media and communications company, is seeking a part-time Creative Associate for the Business Record, our flagship division.

Under the guidance of the Business Record’s creative director, this position would be responsible for:

· Assisting in the design and production of stories, layouts, ads, web, social media design, or sales/promotional assets for department products, as assigned.

· Learning and adhering to proper processes, procedures and use of appropriate technology for design-related product development and production as well as general administrative functions.

· Providing feedback or ideas on process improvements for any aspect of design function, including appropriate use of assets to illustrate stories or communications, use of multi-media assets or development of products or events or to meet needs of readers and community. Contribute to innovation around uses of various platforms and multimedia assets.

· Meeting all deadlines for production and design assets.

· Maintaining timely and clear communication with leaders, colleagues and sources.

· Adhering to style and brand guidelines.

· Ensuring accuracy in all products and design assets.
