Industrial Electrician - 1st and 2nd Shift (46621)

Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician - 1st and 2nd Shift to join their team. This position involves facilities maintenance as well as machine and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, and PLC ladder logic. They will be capable of reading and understanding electrical schematics, troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues, and working collaboratively in a team environment with a strong desire to learn and grow.

What you will do:
Perform maintenance on electrical systems of a wide variety of machinery and equipment ranging from 400 volts to low-voltage circuits
Participate in projects involving facility changes, which require power delivery to new and existing machinery and equipment
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner
Read and interpret electrical schematics accurately
Work effectively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues
Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and technologies related to electrical systems and maintenance

What you will need to be successful:
Strong understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, and PLC ladder logic
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, and proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues
2-year degree in Electrical or Electronics is preferred
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Desire to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies
Previous experience in an industrial setting preferred
Familiarity with electrical safety standards and best practices preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
