What you will do:
Deliver excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
Resolve issues and provide technical support to staff and clients via phone, e-mail, and in-person
Train and educate staff on the use of hardware and software, which includes network security
Assist with network administration tasks, which include the setup and maintenance of user accounts and permissions
Perform regular systems updates and backups, plus support the day-to-day operations of our computer network
Evaluate scheduled reports and document technical issues and solutions for future reference

What you will need to be successful:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field
A minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
Relevant certifications (ex, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications
Familiarity with information security practices and procedures to protect the organization's data from intrusion or corruption
Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
Knowledge of network security and data backup/recovery
