Fundraiser - Major Gifts Division

CultureALL Inc

Consulting, Education-Teaching/Admin, Entertainment, Not for Profit-Charity, Training | Full Time | Hybrid | Urbandale

Job Description

As the Major Gifts Fundraiser, you will build and manage a portfolio of 50+ major-gift donors. You are responsible for identifying strategic opportunities, ensuring CultureALL has a strong base of financial support for operations in service of its mission vision.

Your goal is to achieve 50% of CultureALL’s revenue by establishing relationships with key donors who care about CultureALL’s approach to community building. You will be expected to make 350 face-to-face solicitations over 12 months, generally 10 to 15 calls per week, to raise $400,000 in the major gifts division ($2,500 to $10,000). Your work will be distinctly separate from grant writing, capital campaigns, planned giving, and event fundraising. The leadership team and board will reassess and reset these fundraising goals annually to ensure CultureALL has financial stability.

The CultureALL team works in a hybrid environment. Team members are highly accountable for achieving their goals, communicating effectively, and remaining independently motivated. With a well-established, 20-year history, CultureALL makes effective use of Salesforce as a database with roughly 3,000 prospective donors and 150 sustaining donors. Board members support fundraising efforts, and while CultureALL does not operate with an endowment, we recently completed a successful $1 million campaign.
