Job Description

Palmer Group has partnered with a client in the construction industry in their search for a Benefits Administrator to join their exceptional team. This organization values people and creating an environment of support and empowerment by offering a quality benefits experience. In this role, you will oversee and improve employee benefits programs across teams and locations. You will act as the point of contact for both vendors and employees for inquiries, education, and onboarding. What you will do:

-Manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs
-Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries and issue resolution related to benefits
-Lead open enrollment efforts and facilitate benefits education across locations
-Partner with vendors, brokers, and carriers to oversee enrollments, updates, and claims resolution
-Monitor benefits offerings to ensure competitiveness, cost-efficiency, and regulatory compliance
-Keep accurate records and audit data across HRIS and payroll platforms
-Coordinate with payroll and HR to ensure deductions and reporting are accurate and on time
-Assist in benefits communication efforts by sending newsletters, digital content, and onboarding documents
-Help to evaluate and recommend new programs aligned with employee needs and market trends

What you will need to be successful:

-3+ years of experience in benefits administration, preferably in the construction industry
-Demonstrated knowledge of benefits regulations (ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, ACA)
-Experience utilizing HRIS systems and platforms for benefit enrollment
-High attention to detail with a focus on data integrity and issue resolution
-Strong communication and customer service skills across all employee levels
-Ability to support and collaborate with employees across all levels and teams
-Adaptability in a fast-paced setting
