Job Description
Muddy Boots Forest Camp is seeking outdoor loving educators to join our team of leaders and substitutes for year-round Forest School.
At Forest School students learn in the best classroom - nature! Each class provides students opportunities to explore and play in local parks and green spaces with the support and supervision of Forest School Leaders.
Leaders work 3-6 hours a week on average with 2-3 hours of paid planning time per month.

Essential Job Functions
As a Forest School Leader or Substitute you will spend your morning at our class site hiking, exploring nature, and facilitating lessons with the support of our other Leaders and Site Lead. Forest School Leaders are expected to plan and lead 2-3 lessons a month with paid planning time included.
Leaders work in a variety of outdoor conditions and can comfortably hike/nature walk for 20-30 minutes at a time.
Education
No higher educational experience required but coursework in childcare, teaching, or outdoor education preferred.
Experience
Previous childcare or teaching experience preferred but not required.
Benefits
Forest School Leaders receive up to a $200 annual gear stipend after their 2nd month of employment.
