Summary:
This position maintains relationships with all Catch Des Moines advertising partners to foster engagement, renewals, and continued connections. This position is responsible for the administrative ongoing relationships with partners, advertising asset fulfillment, and reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
Works with Partner Sales Manager to develop new strategies for servicing local businesses and for relationship building opportunities. Creating unique opportunities to help local businesses hit their advertising goals.
Assists with relationships with all current partners. Prepares benefits and advertising reports for partners and continues to strengthen the relationship. Maintains constant contact with all levels of partners.
Compiles and maintain advertising partner records in Simpleview, including complete notes of visits, calls, discussions, agreements, etc.
Provides benefit summaries to all participating businesses when assets have been executed. Ensuring proper documentation has been entered to report on the Extranet.
Documents all contracts and arrange timelines to ensure projects are completed on time.
Works with the marketing team to ensure each sold opportunity/asset is fulfilled. Makes follow-up contact to each partner following sponsored event/item, as well as compiling and sending recaps to each partner following completion.
Helps coordinate with the Director of Destination Services to ensure any assets that are sold are being included at events.
Diligently proofs publications and assists with Partner editorial direction and content for Catch Des Moines Visitors Guide, Planner's Guide, Catch Des Moines marketing materials, etc. to ensure information is accurate and all current businesses with assets are included.
Secures promotional items and promotions through media and other entities to help market Catch Des Moines to key target markets. Tracks all in-kind media exposure for tracking and benchmarking purposes.
Continually stays up to date on current partners for Sales/Services/Sports needs.
Works with the finance team to ensure advertisers are being invoiced correctly, payments received are denoted, and conducts quarterly "audits" to make sure marketing revenues reported are always accurate.
Provides content to the Communications & PR Manager for the Partner Newsletter and other newsletters on an as needed basis.
Is the primary contact for Destination Travel Network. Handling the dual selling contracts, invoicing, and asset fulfillment.
Helps coordinate quarterly “Catch a Break” events with help from Partner Sales Manager.
