Job Description
Business Publications Corporation (BPC) is seeking a motivated, growth minded sales professional to join the Business Record sales team.
For more than four decades, Business Record has connected Iowa's business community through journalism, events, research, recognition programs, podcasts, and executive leadership experiences. Our sales team works alongside organizations to build integrated programs that help them grow visibility, relationships, and influence across Iowa.
This is not a cold start sales role. You will step into an established territory with active client relationships, renewal opportunities, and significant room for new business development.
You will work with Iowa's leading organizations to develop integrated business development and marketing solutions that may include advertising, events, executive forums, sponsorships, content marketing, podcasts, video, research, thought leadership, and custom partnerships across the Business Publications Corporation portfolio.

Essential Job Functions
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage and grow an established territory of existing clients and prospects.
• Develop new business opportunities through consistent prospecting, networking, referrals, and community engagement.
• Create strategic advertising, sponsorship, and marketing recommendations aligned with client goals.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and client recommendations.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline management, forecasting, and account information within CRM systems.
• Manage contract execution, fulfillment coordination, and client follow up in accordance with company policies.
• Represent Business Record and Business Publications Corporation at events and within the community.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution and delivery of client programs.

• Attend and participate in Business Record and BPC events.
• Serve as a positive ambassador for the organization and its brands.

Experience

• 3+ years of sales, business development, marketing, account management, or client relationship experience preferred.
