To start his day, Ryan often stops by Beans & Beignets in Earlham. This locally owned café offers a hearty breakfast and lunch menu, handcrafted drinks and of course, delicious beignets. Feeling adventurous? Try the beignets with a twist: Lemon Glaze, Cinnamon and Sugar and Holy Cow Hot (spicy honey).
One of Ryan’s favorite activities includes going to the Iowa Theater to catch a movie. This historic theater, located in Winterset, is a non-profit movie theater and performance space where locals and visitors can come together to enjoy entertainment.
To wrap up the day, Ryan likes to visit The Drift, a taproom and restaurant in Winterset. Featuring live performances, community events and game nights, The Drift always has something to offer visitors and locals.
